AT - ... just how many people are doing this?...

Single figures. - PK

babylonburning@... - ... f**k...

C - ... it was hard to look at. youve gone for a stark duality that truly jarrs while maintaining such a simple theme. how surreal can reality get? nice one...

DF - ... I admire your tactics in trying...

DT - ... Clearly those in authority lost control some time ago. I presume they are still in post, and still being paid...

E - ... Any dead?...

Not that I know of. - PK

EP - ... sure looks like a frendly neighborhood...

The application of the use of firearms to 'sheriff' and 'mayor' simply isn't done here and possibly might not set a good precedent. - PK

F - ... worked with youth in this area and was shocked to find senior workers paying them to return stolen equipment. So, having learnt this lesson, whenever the youths needed money they knew exactly how to get it. And what did they spend the money on? Drugs and alcohol. Management demonstrated a distinct lack of intellect, compared to their egos. Presumably, this continues...

G - ... remember seeing a documentary on the local police. Wasn't there a local fire, a family of 4 died and 3 serving officers, all related, were the prime suspects?...

Clydach. We've had Operation Countryman, riots in Brixton, Stalker, but some things never seem to go away. A police uniform can be a red rag to a bull. Unfortunately. - PK

GN - ... see no reason why stocks should not be brought back, but I draw the line at birching and hanging. They must be seen to have learnt...

hornyhal@... - ... at the very least those who did this must clear it up and pronto...

JD - ... wasted years being a 'bad boy'. It took me a long time to realise I was really last weeks dog-turd. But when you have probation officers, police, teachers and the rest, wagging their fingers in your face telling you what a c**t they think you are, they forget on their way home to their warm comfortable homes that yours is cold, has no furniture, no food, apart from whatever else is going on. You have to fight back or you'll end up killing yourself. It's that bad...

JT - ... found it funny that last year the council 'discovered' the 'Southern Arc', when, in my view, they were the very people who created it. Look at the millions spent on the Millennium Stadium, the Bay, city centre 'improvements' and now a Sports Village. How many kids from the 'Southern Arc' will be able to afford, or even be inclined, to use any of them?...

I could suggest that perhaps the Southern Arc could declare UDI a la 'Passport to Pimlico'. It might then qualify for emergency financial funding from the EU. There would be tax benefits too. Any suggestions for a borderline? - PK

K - ... many places in the valleys just like this desolate devoid deserts...

KD - ... the trouble is when a 'community project' becomes a nice little earner for a self-chosen few who then go on to poison the rest... egos rather than common sense takes over and those running the show don't give a hoot about who gets hurt because money is now the be all and end all... who cares how many trees get burnt down or high the rubbish piles up so long as they've got enough for their holidays abroad. It's disgusting...

L - ... this is in your face, what by nature you turn away from...

M - ... the subject matter is engaging in its rawness... shocking yet compelling. A true celebration of consumer and civil reality, well done! Do you have larger scale copies of...

MB - ... reminds me of 70s belfast...

MM - ... in my country the punishment would be swift and certain. You aspire to the pinnacle of civilisation, like your Crusades... like the gritting lorries that failed to move exactly when paid to be required. Zurich gets 1 metre of snow and it is open in an hour, Heathrow gets 10cm and it is shut for 3 days...

N - ... facilities intended for youth in this area are normally shut during holidays so there is nowhere for them to go and nothing for them to do. Is this true?...

I'm afraid so. - PK

NT - ... angry demonstration of control one ponders the stimulus. scary...

P - ... the colours and settings add to the value of the destruction. I feel disturbed like when I'm looking at a Bacon. Why not submit an assembly for a Turner?...

Would anyone like to help with this? - PK

RW - ... we never did this whats wrong with them...

SB - ... Surely it is the responsibility of the local council to remove these cars? What are the authorities doing about this situation? Where are the politicians? Somebody needs a kick up the backside, and not just the young people doing this...

SH - ... the parents can't be blamed when schools, police and the like, reinforce the idea that no meaningful consequence will befall anti-social behaviour. So often I've heard the refrain "What are you going to do about it? Nothing, so f**k off", and they are right...

SR - ... Burn the bastards...

T - ... who would have thought such things happen. There are so many...

TS - ... this just didn't happen in our day. We don't know how to deal with this and it is frightening the pants off us. Now others can see why...

W - ... stark juxtaposition between colours and the natural and man-made, tied into the now. A strong sense of differentiation between the brutal and the sublime...
